There will be 15 typical dishes from both countries, over 100 Portuguese wine labels, traditional Portuguese sweets, music, and art
Imagine traveling from north to south of Portugal and Brazil without leaving Brasília. On October 3 and 4, 2025, the Portuguese Embassy will open its doors to a unique experience, where aromas, colors, and flavors transform each dish into a shared story. Eight renowned chefs—four Portuguese and four Brazilian—will combine talent and tradition to create typical dishes, accompanied by selected wines and cultural attractions that further enrich the event.
The Portuguese chefs will present emblematic recipes from the country's seven regions, while the Brazilians will bring to the table the inventiveness of national cuisine, with authentic ingredients, regional techniques, and stories that reveal the soul of Brazilian cuisine.
GASTRONOMIC STATIONS - Over the two days, visitors will be able to explore gastronomic stations designed by pairs of chefs, where each bowl served offers a unique sensory experience. The dishes highlight striking flavors, surprising textures, and a fusion of cultures that transforms each recipe into a celebration. More than a culinary event, this gathering is a tribute to the friendship between the two countries, the richness of their traditions, and their ability to create something truly extraordinary together.
Station 1 - Chef Cláudio Pontes and Chef Marcelo Petrarca
- Skewers on Madeira laurel sticks, side by side with smoked ribs from the pampas
Station 2 - Chef Marco Almeida and Chef Francisco Ansiliero
- Grilled cod from central Portugal meets the freshness of pirarucu ceviche.
Station 3 - Chef Tiago Bonito and Chef Nayhara Branquinho
- Lisbon duck rice in dialogue with Brazilian fava bean purée and lamb.
- Station 4 - Chef Rafael Ribeiro and Chef Marco Silva
- The robust Trás-os-Montes-style feijoada sharing space with a pork cheek rice stew.
Together, these duos build bridges between cultures, translating the spirit of the event: food and wine as a way of connecting territories, histories, and affections.
