Visit Buenos Aires Makes Its Debut in Festuris' LGBT+ Diversity Space

A longstanding partner of Festuris, Argentina has participated in the event since its earliest editions and will have an even stronger presence this year

Argentina's presence at Festuris – Gramado International Tourism Fair will reach a new milestone in 2026. For the first time, Visit Buenos Aires will participate in the LGBT+ Diversity Space, expanding the destination's presence in one of the fastest-growing segments of global tourism and reinforcing the Argentine capital's commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion.

A longstanding partner of Festuris, Argentina has participated in the event since its earliest editions and will have an even stronger presence this year. The inclusion of Visit Buenos Aires in the LGBT+ Diversity Space marks a new chapter in this historic partnership, featuring initiatives aimed at the LGBTI+ community while strengthening ties with the Brazilian and international travel trade.

The connection between Festuris and LGBTI+ tourism will also be highlighted ahead of the trade show. On August 27 and 28, the LGBT+ Diversity Space and Festuris will be represented by Marcela Cuesta at the 24th International LGBTIQ+ Business and Tourism Conference (Gnetwork) in Buenos Aires. The event is recognized as one of the leading gatherings for the sector in Latin America, bringing together tourism professionals, companies, and destinations committed to advancing inclusive tourism.

Participation in Gnetwork further strengthens the relationship between Festuris and Argentina while expanding dialogue with a strategic market for international tourism.

According to Marta Rossi, CEO of Festuris, the partnership built over the decades highlights Argentina's importance to the event and reflects Festuris' commitment to an increasingly diverse tourism industry.

"Argentina has been a historic partner of Festuris and has always maintained a very significant presence at our trade show. Seeing Visit Buenos Aires make its debut in the LGBT+ Diversity Space is extremely rewarding and reflects the evolution of this partnership. Our participation in Gnetwork further reinforces this relationship and Festuris' commitment to fostering a more inclusive, welcoming tourism industry that keeps pace with market transformations," said Marta Rossi.

With Visit Buenos Aires joining the LGBT+ Diversity Space for the first time and Festuris participating in Gnetwork, this year's edition further strengthens its position as a business platform that values diversity, promotes international connections, and embraces the trends shaping the future of global tourism.
