
In 37 editions of Festuris - Gramado International Fair, neighboring Uruguay has participated in 36. And to celebrate this successful partnership, in 2025 our brothers brought sensory experiences to their stand to showcase the best in culture, gastronomy, and tourism.
During the event, the Uruguayan Ministry of Tourism held activations to publicize its new promotional campaign “Uruguay Surprises.” The goal is to showcase the country as a consolidated and competitive destination, which received more than 575,000 foreign visitors in 2024.
Uruguay's space at Festuris was decorated with artwork inspired by Joaquín Torres-García, with exhibitions by more than 20 artists. The country also participated in the Food & Drinks Experience Space, with cheese and wine tastings and the promotion of itineraries. Another highlight at the Uruguayan stand was the musical performance by Daniel “Tatita” Marquez.
