The iconic Enjoy Punta del Este Casino & Resort in Uruguay was the setting chosen for the international launch of the 37th edition of Festuris — Gramado International Tourism Trade Show, reinforcing the strategic connection between Brazil and Uruguay and consolidating the event as one of the largest tourism business platforms in Latin America.
In an environment that celebrates high-end tourism and institutional connections, the launch brought together authorities and industry representatives from both countries, highlighting Festuris' role as a link between destinations, brands, and tourism professionals. With impressive numbers in the last edition (15,000 participants, 2,700 exhibiting brands, and 53 international destinations), the event continues to expand its economic impact and regional prominence.
During the ceremony, the importance of the alliance between Brazil and Uruguay for the joint development of South American tourism was reaffirmed, strengthening the ties between Gramado and Punta del Este, two iconic destinations for hospitality and excellent tourist experiences.
“Festuris is a major event and an international benchmark for the tourism sector. Here, we are able to promote valuable connections that strengthen our destinations. Uruguay and Brazil share historical and cultural ties that this event helps to further strengthen,” said Ana Caram, Uruguay's Deputy Minister of Tourism.
One of the major milestones in the 2025 edition will be the celebration of 10 years of the Luxury Area, an area dedicated to high-end tourism. Enjoy Punta del Este has already confirmed its presence in this segment, with more than 30 strategic meetings scheduled to present its proposal for luxury hospitality and exclusive experiences.
“Bringing the international launch of Festuris to Punta del Este is a clear demonstration of our commitment to strengthening relations with strategic markets, such as Uruguay. The partnership between Gramado and Punta del Este reinforces the potential of tourism as a vector for regional integration and development,” said Eduardo Zorzanello, CEO of Festuris.
“Participating in such an important trade show as Festuris allows us to position Uruguay and Punta del Este among the main luxury destinations in Latin America. We are very honored to host this launch and reinforce our alliance with Gramado and Brazil,” added Javier Azcurra, director of institutional relations and sales at Enjoy.
Festuris 2025 will take place from November 6 to 9 and promises to maintain its tradition as the leading B2B tourism trade show in Latin America and expand its role as a catalyst for business, innovation, and strategic connections that inspire and transform the sector.
