Festuris Strengthens International Agenda to Expand Strategic Connections and Increase the Participation of Destinations and Companies at the Trade Fair

The agenda is focused on strengthening partnerships, building closer relationships with public and private tourism leaders, and expanding international participation

Festuris – Gramado International Tourism Fair CEOs Eduardo Zorzanello and Marta Rossi, accompanied by Luxury Space Coordinator Jardel Hay, are carrying out a series of strategic engagements this week in São Paulo, Asunción (Paraguay), and Buenos Aires (Argentina). The agenda is focused on strengthening partnerships, building closer relationships with public and private tourism leaders, and expanding international participation in the 38th edition of Festuris, which will take place from November 12 to 15 in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil.

The program began in São Paulo, where the executives held meetings with the leadership of Gol Airlines to discuss the renewal of the airline’s partnership as the official air carrier of Festuris. Meetings were also held with representatives from the LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce and Tourism of Brazil, AVIAREPS, Ethiopian Airlines, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings (NCLH) in Brazil.

The delegation then traveled to Asunción, Paraguay, where Eduardo Zorzanello and Marta Rossi were welcomed by the Minister of Tourism, Jacinto Santa María. During the meeting, Paraguay received the official invitation to participate in Festuris, and the fair’s institutional proposal was presented. The minister emphasized the country’s interest in fostering strategic agendas with Brazilian investors and reinforced Paraguay’s position as a favorable environment for attracting new business opportunities and investments.

The agenda in the Paraguayan capital also included meetings with Rosanna Fustagno, from NSA Travel and a member of the Board of the Paraguayan Association of Travel Agencies and Tourism Companies, as well as representatives of Meraki Tour, one of the leading companies in Paraguay’s outbound and inbound tourism market.

According to Eduardo Zorzanello, the meetings aim to strengthen integration between the Paraguayan market and Festuris, particularly within the luxury segment. “Our intention is to build closer relationships with companies that hold strategic relevance in Paraguay, inviting their representatives to participate in the Luxury Space as hosted buyers while also seeking their institutional support with the Paraguayan government to strengthen the country’s participation as an exhibitor at Festuris. These connections create concrete business opportunities for both markets,” he stated.

Still in Asunción, the Festuris representatives met with the management of Gran Bourbon Hotel Asunción, one of the region’s most renowned luxury hospitality developments, located in Luque, next to the CONMEBOL complex and close to Silvio Pettirossi International Airport. The agenda also included meetings with Seven’s Operadora, Bespoke Operadora, and Maral Turismo, companies engaged in the development and commercialization of tourism products for the Paraguayan market.

For Marta Rossi, maintaining a consistent presence in key source markets and engaging with tourism leaders are essential to preserving Festuris’ relevance and international positioning. “Tourism is built on relationships and trust. Being close to authorities, entrepreneurs, operators, and representative organizations allows us to strengthen connections, identify opportunities, and build partnerships that are directly reflected in the quality of the event. Our goal is to bring to Festuris people who influence decisions, drive markets, and contribute to tourism development in their countries and regions,” she said.

The international agenda continues this Thursday (June 26) in Buenos Aires, where Eduardo Zorzanello, Marta Rossi, and Jardel Hay will meet with representatives of Visit Buenos Aires and Inprotur, in addition to other institutional engagements aimed at increasing Argentina’s participation in the trade fair.

With more than three decades of history, Festuris has established itself as one of Latin America’s leading tourism business platforms, bringing together destinations, companies, brands, and professionals in an environment focused on business generation, networking, and knowledge sharing. This year’s event will take place from November 12 to 15 in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, under the theme “Real Relationships That Build the Future.”
