Festuris 2025 celebrates 15% growth and projects future with the theme “Reimagining Tomorrow”

The 37th edition welcomed around 17,000 professionals and generated R$ 552 million in business

Consolidated as the most effective tourism trade fair in Latin America, Festuris – Gramado International Tourism Fair closes its 37th edition with impressive figures and the certainty that the sector continues to expand rapidly. The event recorded overall growth of 15% compared to 2024, bringing together more than 17,000 professionals and generating around R$ 552 million in business during the four days of programming.

It is estimated that Festuris generated around R$ 80 million in the local economy, considering accommodation, food, and average consumption by visitors.

With 64 international destinations represented, 2,500 exhibiting brands, and more than 400 booths, Festuris continues to be an important strategic platform for connecting and generating opportunities for global tourism. In addition, the event featured 110 speakers, 60 hours of content, and a significant increase in the number of appointments/meetings.

“The numbers reflect the growth of the event and the strength of a sector that is constantly reinventing itself. ‘Reimagining Tomorrow’, our theme for 2025, represents a commitment to building a more humane, sustainable form of tourism that is connected to global transformations,” said Eduardo Zorzanello, CEO of Festuris.

The impressive and creative exhibitor stands were erected by around 1,500 workers from more than 30 construction companies. Another 600 temporary employees worked in operational areas such as reception, cleaning, security, and transportation. The presence of 420 national and international media outlets ensured wide visibility and consolidated Gramado as the epicenter of discussions about the future of tourism.

The 37th edition featured numerous highlights

The event's different thematic spaces also grew. The Luxury Space, celebrating its 10th anniversary, brought together 130 brands, while the Business & Innovation, Health and Wellness, Green Experience, Wedding, LGBT+ Diversity, and Rio Grande do Sul Space segments reinforced the diversity and representativeness of the event.

The LGBT+ Space was expanded to incorporate themes of Afro-tourism and ethno-tourism, consolidating the diversity proposal. The edition also featured initiatives focused on sustainability, with SeloXIS certification making Festuris the first event to receive such recognition. Another point worth emphasizing is the focus on accessible tourism, with partnerships between MOVER, SEMARHIS, and Inclusiva Arquitetura, which provided visitors with a more inclusive experience.

INTERNATIONALIZATION - Portugal was this year's Guest of Honor, and Costa Rica, which stands out for its sustainability initiatives, was recognized in the 10 years of the Tree of Integration.

The international vocation of Festuris is evident in the presence of a total of 64 international destinations. Countries from all over Latin America came, such as Uruguay, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Mexico, etc.; from Europe, such as Portugal, Spain, France, Switzerland, and Italy; from Africa, such as Morocco, Angola, and South Africa; from Asia, such as Japan, the Maldives, and the Emirates; as well as Australia in Oceania and the United States in North America.

REAL RELATIONSHIPS... - In 2026, Festuris will address the theme “Real relationships that build the future,” deepening the dialogue on human connections and authentic experiences in tourism. The event is also preparing to expand the Hortênsias Project and launch new initiatives focused on sports tourism, reaffirming its purpose of promoting the sustainable development of the sector.
