
Tour House, a São Paulo-based company, once again curated the stage in the Business & Innovation space at the 37th edition of the Gramado International Tourism Fair - Festuris. “All the lectures were given by leading professionals. And we have our space here, where we talk about the group's brands, corporate travel, events and incentives, leisure travel, production, and gifts,” says Júlia Lima.
As a partner this year, the venture brought in the NGO Amigos do Bem, an institution that works with a Sustainable Social Development model. Since 1993, volunteers have been transforming lives through education, income generation, and various projects capable of promoting local development and social inclusion to eradicate hunger and poverty. The aim is to help people in vulnerable situations in the northeastern hinterland.
“In order to talk about the products they customize for companies and end customers, we brought food and mugs made by people who need the NGO. In addition to the final destination of the money, we also have the product being produced by people who need this space,” reveals Adriana Prado.
The NGO has been a partner of Tour House for several years, having produced gifts for end-of-year events. More than 10,000 children have been involved in education, with over 2.8 million meals served in schools and more than 1,600 jobs created. Houses and four cities of good have been built, artesian wells drilled, and water distributed by tanker trucks.
