Gramado (RS) – Connection Terroirs do Brasil 2026, the country’s main showcase for origin-based products, will begin its anticipated ticket sales for the content stage on March 31, marking the start of ticket sales for the event’s lecture program.
The initiative, which runs until April 10, offers tickets at a promotional price of R$ 210.00, providing the first opportunity for the public to secure early access to the lectures and discussions featured at the event, even before the full lineup of speakers and topics is announced—a strategy that reinforces the already established credibility and interest surrounding the event.
The content program will take place at the traditional Palácio dos Festivais in Gramado, on the mornings of June 11 and 12, bringing together at least 12 experts who will address topics such as territorial valorization, origin certification, gastronomy, and regional development, including two international panels.
After the promotional period, tickets will be sold in progressive pricing tiers:
1st tier from April 11 to May 10: R$ 400.00
2nd tier from May 11 to June 9: R$ 500.00
On-site sales from June 10 to 13: R$ 550.00
In addition to the paid program, Connection Terroirs do Brasil maintains a broad free agenda spread throughout downtown Gramado, highlighting exhibitions of origin-based products, family farming, guided tastings of specialty coffees and wines, as well as the traditional Alameda dos Sabores, where chefs will prepare recipes live using certified ingredients. Activities will take place in locations such as Rua Coberta, Praça Major Nicoletti, and Rua Pedro Benetti ליד the Main Church.
Another attraction is the gastronomic circuit, which engages local restaurants with exclusive menus made from certified products, strengthening the relationship between territory, culture, and experience.
According to Eduardo Zorzanello, this moment represents a strategic milestone: “Connection is a movement that promotes the recognition of origin-based products and the stories behind them. Early ticket sales reinforce public interest in this content and in the connections it creates; this year we will once again bring two international case studies.”
Connection Terroirs do Brasil is organized by Rossi & Zorzanello and co-organized by Sebrae.
CONNECTION AND GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATIONS – Connection is the main event for promoting and showcasing products with Geographical Indication (GI) certification in Brazil. GIs are a type of protection that identifies products or services as originating from a specific place when that origin gives them unique qualities, reputation, or characteristics.
In essence, they are an official label that links a product to its territory. This means that natural factors (such as climate and soil) and human factors (such as traditional know-how) make the product unique. “If you take the recipe for Serrano cheese or Canastra cheese and follow it exactly anywhere in the world, it will never be the same, because of the territory and the know-how,” adds Zorzanello.
In Brazil, GIs are regulated by the Industrial Property Law (Law No. 9,279/1996) and granted by the National Institute of Industrial Property (INPI).
There are two main types of GIs: Indications of Provenance (IP), when a place is known for producing a certain product or service; and Denominations of Origin (DO), which are more rigorous, requiring that the product’s qualities essentially depend on the geographical environment (natural + human factors).
