Bento Gonçalves to present accessibility project at Festuris

The pilot project is being launched on the Caminhos de Pedra route, involving ten small and medium-sized enterprises.

The Bento Gonçalves Department of Tourism will be present at the 37th Festuris – Gramado International Tourism Trade Show, with an innovative and inclusive proposal: the presentation of the accessible tourism project. The initiative is part of the action plan defined with the local trade, which seeks to make the municipality a benchmark destination for inclusion.

During Festuris, Bento Gonçalves will promote activities at the destination, in partnership with wineries, sommeliers, and local producers, offering pairing experiences designed especially for people with visual and hearing impairments. “We want to show that Bento Gonçalves is preparing to be an accessible destination, with concrete actions that reinforce our commitment to welcoming everyone,” said the Secretary of Tourism Henrique Nuncio.

The pilot project is being developed initially on the Caminhos de Pedra route, involving ten small and medium-sized businesses that have agreed to be part of the experience. The initiative has the support of Sebrae and aims to raise awareness among entrepreneurs, adapt infrastructure, and create accessible experiences, always in dialogue with the needs of visitors.

“The proposal we will present at Festuris reinforces the priority of inclusion in municipal management. Accessibility is a central theme for us, and participating in the event is an opportunity to showcase our progress and inspire new partners to get involved,” he said. Once the pilot project has been consolidated, the goal is to expand the program to other tourist routes in the municipality, strengthening Bento Gonçalves as an inclusive and welcoming destination.
