Another episode of the Podcast Connection Terroirs do Brasil is now available, a production that delves into the stories, knowledge, and flavors that make Brazil a country of unique cultural and productive riches. Available on YouTube and Spotify, this episode features an in-depth and inspiring conversation about Geographical Indications (GIs) and the transformative impact they have on local communities, territories, and traditions.
Mediated by André Bordignon, sector project coordinator at the Sebrae/RS Agribusiness Center, the chat brings together three voices representing different corners of Brazil and their respective GIs:
- André Larentis, president of Aprovale, responsible for Brazil's first GI, Vale dos Vinhedos (RS);
- Samuel Fortuna Souza, president of the Association of Artisans of Alegria, in Ceará;
- Luca D'ambros, vice president of the Association of Guaraná Producers of the Maués Geographical Indication, in the heart of the Amazon.
Behind each product with a Geographical Indication, there is a history of dedication, ancestry, and connection to the territory. This episode reveals how these certified products not only gain recognition for their quality and authenticity, but also drive local economies, strengthen identities, and promote sustainable regional development.
It is an invitation to learn more about the Brazil that works, through those who live the terroir in its essence. Listen now on YouTube on the Connection Terroirs do Brasil profile.
