Gramado, one of the country’s leading tourist destinations, continues to expand its relevance on the national stage. Data from Omnibees, one of the most important technology platforms in the tourism and hospitality sector in Latin America, indicates that the municipality in the Serra Gaúcha reached 3rd place among the most booked Brazilian destinations in 2025, improving from 2024, when it ranked 6th.
The figures reflect the strategic work carried out by the Gramado Tourism Department in promoting the destination and strengthening the local tourism industry. Omnibees’ database, considered one of the largest in the Brazilian hospitality sector, shows significant growth in demand for accommodation, especially in the leisure segment.
In 2025, Gramado’s formal hotel sector recorded an increase of approximately 30% in the volume of room nights — an indicator that represents the number of room nights sold — compared to 2024. This growth was also accompanied by higher rates: the average daily rate increased from R$486 in 2024 to R$555 in 2025, representing a growth of about 14% during the period.
According to Gramado’s Secretary of Tourism, Ricardo Bertolucci, the results demonstrate the strength of the destination and the recovery of tourist flows. “The numbers indicate that demand increased without a reduction in the average rate, even in a context of tourism recovery after the impacts observed in the previous year,” he highlights.
When compared to the performance of Brazil’s Southern Region, Gramado’s progress was even more significant. While the region recorded 12% growth in the volume of room nights, the destination expanded its accommodation demand at a faster pace, especially in the leisure tourism segment.
For Marta Rossi, CEO of Festuris – Gramado International Tourism Fair, the data reinforces the municipality’s strength as a consolidated destination in national tourism. “Gramado stands out for the quality and diversity of its tourism offering. We have a highly qualified hotel network, prepared to welcome visitors with different profiles, in addition to an extremely rich and varied gastronomy that has become an attraction in itself for those visiting the city. These factors, combined with the joint work of the tourism industry, ensure that the destination remains in the spotlight and continues attracting more and more visitors,” she emphasizes.
Recognized as one of the leading tourism business fairs in Latin America, Festuris will hold its next edition from November 12 to 15 in Gramado, bringing together industry professionals to discuss trends, promote destinations, and strengthen connections in the tourism market.
